Swimming pools
Our swimming pool complex comprises year round thermal swimming pools, both outdoors and indoors, with the following attractions:
- Indoor swimming pool with 3 track family slide;
- Multipurpose indoor swimming pool with water massage;
- Outdoor “out flowing” swimming pool with water massage;
- Outdoor leisure swimming pool with water massage and rushing river, additionally there is a “climbing” net over this pool;
- Outdoor children’s pool with BUBU fountain.
The water temperature in the swimming pools is maintained at a level of 30º C to 38º C and comes from an IG-1 water well located next to the swimming pool complex and exploited by PEC Geothermia Podhalańska. The thermal swimming pools, with a total area of 970 sq m, are equipped with a variety of devices for water massage, such as: needle-bath, special benches for water massage, special couches and benches for air massage, water “hedgehogs” and geysers and devices for neck massage with narrow and wide flows of water. Additionally, in the main swimming pool hall there is a steam bath and whirlpool bath. The thermal water in the swimming pools is mineralized and can be used for balneological purposes. The healing properties of this thermal water can be used to work on muscles and joints, in cases of neurosis, soothing different types of skin conditions and improve the sense of wellbeing. This positive impact of the thermal water is enhanced by various devices for air and water massage. Several attractions in the swimming pools provide a perfect place for an active and pleasant time for all group ages – children, youths, adults and seniors.
